Urinary TractYour body takes nutrients from food and uses them to maintain all bodily functions. After your body has taken what it needs from the food, waste products are left behind in the blood and in the bowel. Here starts the work of the urinary system. Therefore, it is only natural to provide some cleansing assistance to the urinary system, as it is the last frontier where your body tries to eliminate the rest of the dangerous waste. You can start your cleansing with the colon cleanse, and after do liver detox and blood cleanse together. Then you can choose between the kidney cleanse and the urinary tract cleanse. The urinary system is the organ system that helps to keep the chemicals and water in your body balanced. The structure of the urinary system includes: two kidneys, the bladder, two ureters, (tubes leading from the kidneys to the bladder,) and the urethra (a tube leading from the bladder to the exterior of the body). The urinary system removes a type of waste called urea from your blood. Urea is produced when foods containing protein, such as meat, poultry, and certain vegetables, are broken down in the body. Urea is carried in the bloodstream to the kidneys. The kidneys are bean-shaped organs located in the in the abdomen behind the organs of digestion. They receive their blood supply (25% of the cardiac output) from the arteries. The kidneys work as a filter system for the blood. After filtration, they discharge almost 99% of the fluid back into the blood and send the dirty rest (urine) into the bladder. The kidneys are also involved in whole-body homeostasis. Among their homeostatic functions are acid-base balance, regulation of electrolyte concentrations, control of blood volume, and regulation of blood pressure, hormone and vitamin D secretion. After the urine is produced in the kidneys, it goes down twenty-four hours a day through the tubes called ureters, which connect the kidneys to the bladder. The urinary bladder is a hollow muscular organ shaped like a balloon, which is located in the pelvis. The bladder is expandable and stores the urine until it can be eliminated. It also closes openings into the ureters so that urine cannot flow back into the kidneys. Nerves in the bladder tell you when it is time to urinate. The tube through which the urine flows out of the body is called the urethra. It is important to keep the urinary system clean. There are several types of problems that can occur in the urinary system. They include kidney stones, prostate enlargement, bladder control problems, and urinary tract infections. To prevent this health conditions from happening, the whole body, as well as urinary system should undergo regular cleansing. |
